Can I say it is fair?

Can I say it is fair?

Bismillahirahmanirrahim.

Can I say it is fair?

Or that it is unfair?

That life happens this way and not that way,

It takes a turn and now you’re nowhere.

Is this meant to be,

That I am meant to fail?

All these feelings of indignant from everywhere,

Lurking from places you never knew exist.

What if I had successfully passed?

What emotions would then overwhelm me?

These remind me that I am only but a human.

Nothing big but not too small either.

Probably I won’t shatter the glass as I walk.

But I’ll stretch some minds when I talk.

So this is unfair

And I am meant to fail.

But as ironic as this sounds,

I know this is His way to bring me closer

And for that I am nothing but grateful.
